About Fiddlebug Bags

Hi! My name is Mary Kay Wilkinson, wife, mother, grandma, gardener, musician,  cook and seamstress! I love color and experimenting to create new looks with a variety of fabrics. My daughter got me started by asking me to make her a quilted bag. I have been refining my craft ever since. I sell my creations at Scotts Valley Artisans and Art of Santa Cruz in the Capitola Mall. I  participate in various craft fairs: Makers Market, La Selva, SV art and wine, Felton Firehouse Christmas  and the Mount  Hermon Christmas boutique. I enjoy making custom orders because, while I’m working I think about that person, what they would like , how they would use this pocket…ect. Very fullfilling. So if you see something you like but prefer different color and/or size, I’m happy to provide that service for you. Please contact me at: fiddlebug4@yahoo.com or 831 335 2792

I just bought my second bag at Scotts Valley Artisans. I got my first bag when the tag inside said only “Handcrafted by Mary Kay Wilkerson”. I think it was a couple of years ago. At any rate, you make the best bags ever! I just bought the repurposed leather bag with the original coat pocket. There is a place (convenient) for everything – and I mean everything – I feel the need to carry. Thank you for designing a bag that works so well! Oh yeah, I’m tough on bags and yours are very durable.
